These are definitive stamps issued in January 2000 by the Cambodian Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.

| A simple cover using the Prehistoric animals stamps that I sent to a stamp/cover-collector from Slovakia. I have to admit that I was really surprised to see these stamps on display at the Post Office's philately department. Something I didn't expect to be associated with Cambodia nor issued in Cambodia. I don't even know if dinosaurs have lived in Cambodia but this is proving to be popular to collectors! These prehistoric animals featured above are, clockwise from top left to bottom: diplodocus, stegosaurus, and euplocephalus. I love that the skeletons were also included in the design which make them even more interesting. I posted this in my virtual stamp album blog just last Sunday and already I've received several requests for covers using these stamps. Well, all I can say is that they have to be patient as, the last time I checked, these stamps are out of stock. |

cool stamps!!!!
They're cool, indeed! But it takes a lot of patience (and not to mention self-control) to get these at the Post Office. Kaenez ang mga tao dun.
nice cover !
I'm not sure if any dinosaur fossil has been found in Cambodia so far, BUT:
One of this country’s most beautiful monuments is the jungle temple of Ta Prohm, created around 800 years ago, has stegosaurian dinosaur as decoration !
